It Started with a Simple Question
Are the tools we give toddlers truly designed for them?
BeeSticks began with a simple parenting moment. Toddlers explore the world with their hands and often their mouths too. Watching little ones instinctively put crayons into their mouths made us pause.
Most crayons today are made with paraffin wax and synthetic pigments ingredients that don’t belong near curious little explorers.
We believed a child’s first creative tools could be safer and morethoughtful. That became BeeSticksbees waxcrayons designed for a child’s very first scribbles.
A Parent’s Search for the Right Crayon
It started when our daughter wanted to scribble.

When our daughter began showing interest in scribbling, we searched for creative tools designed for toddlers. Pens and pencils were too sharp for little hands, and many crayons in the market were not recommended for children under three years.
Yet the early years are when children begin developing scribbling and fine motor skills.Unable to find the right tool,we started experimentinat homemelting beeswax and natural pigments to create simple crayons safe enough for curious toddlers. What began as a small experiment soon grew into BeeSticks.
Founded by Giftin and Sarkuna, parents and art lovers, BeeSticks was built to create safer, thoughtfully designed tools for early creativity. Sarkuna, a NITT and IIM graduate, left her corporate career to pursue this vision.
Craft With a Purpose
Every crayon carries more than color.

Every BeeSticks crayon is handcrafted by women from self-help groups near the Western Ghats.Using natural beeswax and pigments, they carefully shape each crayon by hand bringing safe creative tools to little hands while supporting livelihoods in their communities.Behind every box of BeeSticks is a story of craft, care, and purpose.
